3 Of the Smallest

These are 3 of the smallest butterflies I took pictures of on my visit to the Butterfly Park in TX.

Following Butterfies

 We arrived in TX today along with the Butterflies, everywhere.  Unfortunately some ended their trip on the front of our vehicle.   

I counted at least 4 different kinds, these photos are the ones that made it safe to my flowering shrub.

Rainbow Touchdown

The colors in the hedge rows are so close to that of a rainbow, can't help but love this time of year.
I did increase the color in this photo once I got it to my computer, the camera just doesn't want to pick up the colors my eye sees.   That is the fun of taking photos I think.

Dinner at 6pm

This Great Blue Heron was dinning on fish he caught himself.

I was happy to film him from the shore, these still shots were taken from a video.

Thinking of Eating

Having some fun with a photo program,  the picture of the Hawk feeding was so washed out, as I was facing the sun when I snapped it, so I merged it with a clear photo.
